3 Ways to Incorporate Beer Into Your Event

I do love that beer has grown so much in popularity. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good glass of wine, too. But I think that the statement above has a lot of truth to it, and I encourage you to leverage that by providing a fun beer component to your event.
Before I go into some ways to incorporate beer into an event, I want to give a shout out to Red Bus Brewing Company in Folsom. Ok, back to events. There are a variety of simple ways to incorporate beer into your event. Here are a few:
Offer a local beer pop-up that showcases local beer

Tap truck or not, DO make sure to offer attendees local beers and perhaps even call out some information about them so that people can get to know the brews in the local area.
Pairings
Wine pairings have been popular for a while, but beer pairings on the menu have gained much popularity. This is a great way to call out local beers. Consult with your F&B department- they should have good suggestions, or at least be able to refer you to a local brewery who can give you ideas.
Host an off-site beer tasting event.
Many times attendees are looking for an off-site experience but don’t want to attend by themselves. Provide them a way to network and visit local businesses off-site. It’s a fun way to get to know the host city!
